Steering and Suspension Services

ITS TIME TO HIT THE OPEN ROAD

Smooth, stable rides and proper ground clearance come down to two things: steering and suspension. To keep your vehicle’s road handling and braking capacities at peak, it’s important to have your steering and suspension systems inspected regularly by an experienced technician and to consider replacement of worn components approximately every 50,000 miles.

STEERING AND SUSPENSION ASSISTANCE

Depending on your steering and suspension systems, our Allen Tire experts will check and adjust your vehicle’s parts as needed. Control arms, sway bars, tie rods, bushings and ball joints, struts, rack and pinion units, CV joints, and wheel alignment—we’ll look at all of these to make sure they’re within manufacturer specifications. And if we need to, we’ll provide an itemized written estimate for any required or suggested repair work.

WHEEL ALIGNMENT NOT QUITE RIGHT?

Wheel alignment is impacted by your steering and suspension system. While proper wheel alignment keeps your vehicle moving straight, improper alignment can cause you to pull to one side. These sways, no matter how slight, can cause premature tire wear, which is why it’s important to check alignment when you buy new tires or when your vehicle is in for service.
